Outbound marketing, also called “interference” or “push” marketing, uses strategies to reach large numbers of people with a message in order to close a sale. Cold calling, direct mail, bulk email, and other approaches are used to reach large groups. It’s usually a one-way conversation about the product and why the audience should buy it.
